If something has gone wrong, the quickest thing you can do is open More in the app and tap Report a problem. It writes the email for you with your settings and device attached, which usually tells me straight away what happened. You can read and edit it before it sends.
Audio cannot start until you touch the screen once, which is a rule of the phone and not something the app can skip, so press Go under and it will begin. If it is still silent, check the ringer switch on the side of the phone and the volume slider in the app's own bar at the bottom.
Yes. Start it, then lock the phone; the rain carries on and the lock screen shows the time you have left, with play and pause. If a call or another app interrupts it, it comes back on its own when they finish.
That is the Screen setting under Session. Leave it on Stay on all night to keep the picture up, or choose Sleep after the dim and the screen turns itself off once the scene has dimmed, with the sound still running.
Open More, find the Pro row and tap Restore, with the same Apple Account signed in that you bought it with. Pro belongs to your Apple Account, not to one phone, so it works on every device you sign in to with it.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not inside the app. Go to your Apple subscriptions, or Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, and change or cancel it there. Cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. Cancelling leaves Pro on until the end of the period you have paid for.
The lifetime unlock is a one-off purchase, not a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel.
Apple issues refunds for everything bought through the App Store. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in and choose the purchase. I cannot refund it from my end, but tell me what went wrong anyway so I can fix it.
The scene is drawn from scratch every frame, so it does ask something of the phone. Under Look, set Quality to Lite, and under Session turn on Dim after and set Screen to Sleep. With the screen off it costs very little, because only the sound is still running.
Any iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or later. Older or smaller devices start in Lite quality on their own.
Yes. Send it to picture in picture with the PIP button, or just leave it playing while you use other apps.
